ON THE ROAD AGAIN
Our History
For over 30 years the Tipperary Knights have performed at numerous Irish festivals and venues. They were regulars at Tommy Makems legendary Irish Pavilion, The Black Rose in Boston, Toads Place, David’s, Riley’s, Nevada Smiths, Gahans, The O’Niel House, Billy‘s Steak House, Fiddlers Green, Tom and Jerry’s, Davy Byrnes, Kennedy’s, Harp & Bard, Danbury Irish Club, Fairfield Irish Club. Blackrock Castle. Rory Dolan’s, Murpheys, O’Briens and the list goes on. They have shared the stage with Irish music legends Tommy Makem, Jim McCann, Cherish the Ladies, The Wolftones, Davey Arthur, Liam Tiernan, Cunningham Bros, Dermot Henry, Aoife Clancy, Fintan Stanley, Sharon Shannon, The Commitments to name a few.
Band Started - March 17th 1986. Chucks Steak House - Danbury, CT
Co founded by the great button accordion player Jerry O’Dwyer from Thurles, County Tipperary. Bobby Vesey and Tom DeSantis. (Jerry passed away in 1989 but his spirit lives on.)
The Band also features the amazing and talented Carmel Johnston, Paul Pender and Steve Ross.
